Our first date was a trip to the pub and sat in the sun drinking our favourite jug of cider ( Monteiths crushed apple cider) we worked together before getting together so it was easy to get to know Each other.
I asked Brooke to marry me over champagne and eggs benedict in bed on the 23rd of April 2016 (her 22nd birthday), a month before she flew to America for another sixth month stint. At the time, we bought each other an engagement ring that we could afford, with the wish to find the ‘forever ring’ at a later date.
